Abstract

The artifact I have chosen is a screen shot describing the phases of the cloud migration project. The cloud migration project was created in August 2019. The project was to analyze a complex computing problem and create a solution. For this project I determined it was necessary for the company to migrate to a cloud application framework. I created a comprehensive project plan which includes a system overview, a verification plan, an implementation plan and a maintenance plan for the migration. Working on this project required that I first being able to analyze a complex computing problem and then be able to apply the principles of computing to the issue and be able to create a solution for the company. This task required that I was able to recognize and understand the issue(s) at hand while being able to apply computing knowledge to creating not only a solution but the plan on how to implement it as well. In creating the migration plan and implementation I learned that no matter how much you plan, projects will always evolve over time, and that planning frameworks need to be able to accommodate this evolution.
